Directions to Cruachan, Arrochar

Cruachan is approximately 45 minutes drive from Glasgow Airport via the Erskine Bridge (60 pence toll). From the airport head West along the M8 towards Greenock. Take the exit marked 'M898 Erskine Bridge' Over then bridge and turn left onto the A82 towards Loch Lomond.

Arrochar is situated on the A83. Head up the A82 on the West coast, alongside Loch Lomond. At Tarbet, go straight on onto the A83. Arrochar is now 2 miles away. As you arrive in Arrochar, turn left onto the A814 beside Loch Long and proceed for approx. 300m then turn Left into the Claymore Hotel (was the Cobbler Hotel) driveway. Cruachan is on the Right immediately before the car park. (see below)

If you are travelling by train the nearest station is Arrochar & Tarbet Station, which is approx. 1 mile away. Local taxis are non-existant, so if you require picking up from the station please call us in advance and we can pick you up.
