The apartment comprises the entire upstairs of the property and was purpose built. We are within east walking distance of all the village amenities. Helensburgh is located approx. 20 miles South of Arrochar. Helensburgh has many gift shops, supermarkets, pharmacy etc. and a selection of pubs and restaurants you would expect from a seaside resort. Local attractions include Loch Lomond Shores and golf club, Loch Lomond cruises, the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, Inverary, numerous castles and Glen Coe. There are a great many local walks and climbs. Inverary Jail is also recommended. Edinburgh, Ben Nevis, Loch Ness, Inverness and the Highlands are all within reach.

Cruachan is accessed from the driveway to the Claymore Hotel (renamed from the Cobbler Hotel) and is set in the hotel's extensive grounds, yet is not overlooked. We have recently installed new windows and decorated the apartment in order to exceed the Scottish Tourist Boards 4 star rating.. 

Cruachan is in the centre of Arrochar Village, within easy access of Glasgow, Inverary, Loch Lomond, Oban and Fort William. Situated in the Trossachs National Park, Scotland's first National Park. The scenery is stunning. Many local walks are within easy reach; the Cobbler (Ben Arthur), The Arrochar Alps and Ben Lomond. Loch Long also accessible by boat. Fishing boats can be hired locally. Bed and Breakfast is provided. Tea and Coffee facilities available, Iron and Ironing Board and Hair Dryer. Fridge and microwave also provided.
